How the Formula Works
Tip Amount = Bill × (Tip Percentage ÷ 100). Total = Bill + Tip. Per Person = Total ÷ Number of People.
Tip = Pre-tax bill amount × Tip %
Total bill = Pre-tax amount + Tip + Tax
Per person = Total ÷ Number of people splitting
